Angel is an economist with master degree in economics and business, and postgraduate studies in finance and political analysis. His professional expertise is focused on strategic planning and business development.
Angel has 28 years of professional experience. He held management positions in Banamex as Deputy Director of Strategic Planning, in the Presidency of the Republic and later in the telecommunications sector as an officer of Avantel (Commercial Planning Director), Embratel in Brazil (Director of Planning and Corporate Development and Chief International operations) and Telmex International (Marketing Coordinator for business operations in seven countries in Latin America). Later he served as Director General of Mexico NextWave Wireless, a leading developer of wireless broadband technology.
He is currently Managing Partner of Tantum Group in Mexico, a leading international consulting firm in strategic management services. He has participated in numerous projects of corporate and government consulting on issues of strategic development and implementation of results-oriented strategies and the development of innovation strategies.
He teaches the Diploma in Strategy and Implementation for Results and the Diploma of Planning and implementation of government strategies, both from the Anahuac University. He is an Associate Consultant of the National Institute of Public Administration of Mexico (INAP). He is Vice President of the National Technical Committee of Strategic Management of the Mexican Institute of Finance Executives (IMEF).
He has published over 200 articles on topics of strategic, financial, economic development and telecommunications in various newspapers and magazines in Mexico and abroad.
